We are pleased to announce that ALADASTURI QVEVRI 2018 gained GOLD AWARD on 7th “SAKURA” Japan Women’s Wine Awards 2020.
On January 28 and 29, 2020, the blind tasting was held In Tokyo by Wine and Spirits Culture Association. 4,333 items from 29 countries were assessed by total 560 Japanese female wine experts.
The SAKURA Awards started its history in 2014 as the first international wine competition judged solely by women in Japan. Chaired by Yumi Tanabe, the Awards have grown gradually and now become the largest and the most important wine competition in Asia. Competition results always draw keen attention from both Japan and abroad.
During the event of FOODEX JAPAN 2020 from March 10 to 13, all SAKURA awarded Wines will be exhibited.
